    Usually, the building and assets insurance policy contains coverage for material damages and civil liability to third parties.

    The insurance of the construction works, and the responsibility of the constructor cover the losses that occur at the construction works (industrial, civil, hydrotechnical, roads and bridges), at the materials and temporary works.     natural phenomena, fire, lightning, explosion, body falls, collision by vehicles, sonic boom, atmospheric phenomena (storm, hail), alluvium, weight of snow / ice, piped water; theft (by burglary or robbery), vandalism.

    Additional clauses that can be added:

    • disposable goods;
    • accidental damage;
    • strikes, riots, civil unrest;
    • housing risk (if the insured is a tenant).

    a) Material damage:

    Covered:

    • Damage caused to construction works (including equipment.): Natural phenomena (earthquake, flood, water spill, landslide, storm, hurricane, etc.), fire, explosion, burglary of construction materials or of other goods kept in closed and locked spaces; the collapse of the building or construction as a result of the impact with external objects or bodies, aircraft or parts thereof; strikes, riots, civil unrest;
    • the cost of the firefighters’ intervention;
    • the fees of the service providers adjacent to the assembly construction works (architects, experts, consultants).

    b) Civil liability to third parties of the manufacturer

    Depending on your needs,

    it is also possible to choose to cover the damages caused by the Insured’s fault to third parties, damages for which he is legally responsible and which are directly related to the construction-assembly works carried out on site and insured:

    • Personal Injury
    • Damage or destruction of property
    • Court costs
    • Expenses made with the written consent of the insurer, as a result of a damage to be compensated

    The exclusions are expressly mentioned in the policy and refer mainly to damages caused:

    • war or war operations;
    • acts of terrorism;
    • of nuclear reactions and radiation, radioactive contamination.
