According to full-year 2025 data, the distribution of insurance products remained heavily reliant on brokers, who intermediated approximately 68% of the total gross written premiums, amounting to RON 17.6 billion, an increase of about 9% compared to the previous year.
The level of intermediation remains particularly high in the general insurance segment, where brokers distribute around 82% of premiums. In contrast, the life insurance segment continues to show a significantly lower level, at approximately 13%.
